Meet our Staff

Dervel Jackson (Coach D Jackson),  Is the founder and director of the Illinois Cougars basketball program. Born and raised in the Englewood area of Chicago, he has always had a passion for basketball and helping youth; at the age sixteen he started his coaching career at Marquette Park in Chicago IL.  In the year 2013 he joined the Chicago Trojans basketball program under the director Marlon Jackson. Since being with the program he has coached various groups.
