Refund Policy

All registration fees paid to the Illinois Cougars. are used for operating cost, facility rental, and tournament expenses. There are NO refunds once deposits are made for any program.

There are NO refunds due to sickness, bad weather, or any unforeseen circumstances out of the control of the program.

In extreme circumstances players could be offered a credit for future programs.

Cougars pride ourselves in making the best decision for all parties involved.

During the Spring/Summer season there are one National team at the Middle and High School levels grades 6-12 (12u-17u). Middle School National teams compete are part of the Prep Hoops Next Circuit as well as competing in other high-level events. High School National Teams are part of the NY2LA Circuit. National teams also compete in many high level events such as Prep Hoops, Recruit Look Hoops, Made Hoops, and Hoop Group. High School National Teams compete in all NCAA Live Recruiting periods. Season includes July. *No games and practices in June for grades High School teams due to High School Summer League.

Grades 6-8 (12U-14U) National teams play in 6 total events with 2 out of state tournaments.
Grades 9-12 (15U-17U) National teams play in 8 total events with 3 out of state tournaments. (High School National teams are off for June due to Summer League).

Practice Schedule

Three days of practice Biweekly allowing for more development and flexibility for players with other commitments. Two team practices and one skills practice. Players have the option to come 1-3x a week to best fit their schedule.
Practices take place in Chicagoland area and other surrounding locations.
Practices start time 7pm-9:15pm
Practices consist of skill development as well as building offensive and defensive schemes. Teamwork and defense are the backbone of our philosophy and is emphasized by each coach. Our goal is to build high IQ basketball players.

Please be advised that tournament times and specific locations are typically not released by the tournament’s director until the Wednesday or Thursday before the tournament date. Also, tournaments may be changed or canceled due to registration and/or other factors out of our control. In the event of a cancellation, we will do our best to reschedule another tournament. Also, teams may be invited to play in local tournaments, at the last minute, due to other teams dropping out. We understand the inconvenience last minute tournament may cause, and we will only agree to play in them if the majority of the team can make it. We will do our best to keep you updated on tournament information as soon as it is released to us.

Please note, all tournaments and shootouts charge an admission fee for spectators.
